November 2019

We went to the National railway Museum in York to see the original Stephenson’s Rocket. While we were there we helped to tell the story of how the Rocket won the Rainhill trials. We also saw lots of other trains that were inspired by Stephenson’s winning design.

January 2020

In Science we have been building on our knowledge of materials to investigate why different materials are chosen to manufacture things depending on their properties. We had a hunt around school and recorded our findings.

Thursday 27th February

Today we had a very special story sharing session with our parents. We read stories to them and to each other and looked at different information books. We had a great time!
