World Book Day

World Book Day
We had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day in
school. All the children (and staff) looked great in their
costumes – a big thank you for your support with this.
It was lovely to see the older children sharing books with
the younger ones at our reading café – thank you to
Mrs Williams our school cook and the kitchen team for
providing the tasty treats for this.
The children worked so enthusiastically throughout the
day taking part in book-based activities and really did
show their pleasure for reading and books.
Extreme Reading winners will be announced next week,
there have been some fantastic entries so far! You have
until Monday next week to get these in.
