Reading Sessions for Parents

What a super start to our shared parent reading sessions as Mercury and Venus class were joined by their families to share books and stories and to play phonic games. The children loved demonstrating their reading skills as well as taking some time to relax and listen to a story. Books were provided from the school library and these included a range of non-fiction texts that were very popular and started lots of conversation. Thank you to everyone that was able to come along. There will be more sessions starting after half term so please make a note of the date for your class and if you are able, come along and start the day with a good book and a lot of fun!
